Role overview
British Council Morocco is recruiting Marketing Manager- Maghreb. We are looking for an enthusiastic professional person, responsible for ensuring that the Maghreb English SBU country plans, and the activities they contain, (both grant-funded large-scale projects and full cost recovery teaching and exams businesses), are based on a clear understanding of their respective English target audiences and target markets.
Based on that clear understanding of target audiences and target markets, ensure that the British Council is offering an appropriate English product mix within each of the countries in the region and design the right targetted campaigns to drive growth
Act as a the cluster’s ‘Brand Manager’ within the English SBU, by ensuring that the British Council’s brand identity is built and managed according to sound marketing practices, and in accordance with our identified target audiences’/markets’ needs. To that end, maintain strong communication links with the Brand Management team in the region.
The post holder will play an important role to support the development and implementation of strategies, (in Algeria, Libya, Morocco and Tunisia), which will in turn support the products, services and projects in the areas of PR and media, business relations and e-communications and brand.
Applicants should have a relevant degree in Marketing field and at least 7 years’ experience in a senior marketing related role. Strong communications skills in English, French and Arabic. English Language competence(Minimum C1 CEFR Level / IELTS band 7 or equivalent internationally recognised qualification).
Applicants need to have a pre-existing right to live and work in Morocco.
